Biography
Hugh Groman, chef and proprietor of Hugh Groman Catering, began his professional culinary career at the nationally renowned Gramercy Tavern in Manhattan. After establishing himself in several of New York’s finest restaurants, bakeries, and catering companies, he conducted a culinary tour of the United States before returning to New York to launch both Hugh Groman Catering and the Boerum Hill Food Company. In 2001, he returned home to the San Francisco Bay Area and brought Hugh Groman Catering to Berkeley.
